First Aid Training
We provide a wide range of First Aid Training courses, all of which are Ofqual regulated by Qualsafe Awards.
Having the correct first aid provision in your workplace is not only a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of you and your employees.
However, here at Atlas Safety Management, we know that it can be difficult to determine exactly what your first aid requirements are and how many first aiders you need and what type of training they require.
That’s why we’re delighted to introduce our First Aid Requirements Calculator! Designed to be quick and easy to use, this online assessment tool uses the recently updated HSE regulations to accurately calculate the cover you need in your workplace.
Simply input a few details about your workplace and the calculator will create a clear, printable report of your organisation’s requirements – ideal for demonstrating that you have completed your first aid needs assessment in line with the current legislation.

Completed in days, not weeks:
The longest course is complete in just three days (some courses take only half a day).
Fully certified (with one exception):
The First Aid at Work (Refresher) is the only course exempt from certification.

New guidelines have been established regarding First Aid training. Atlas Safety Management have implemented the following precautions in readiness for your return and we will be releasing new training dates soon:
- We will thoroughly Risk Assess our training delivery and mitigate all risk that could potentially cause the spread of COVID-19
- We will maintain 2m distancing between both trainer and students, unless close contact is absolutely necessary
- Hand washing facilities and alcohol hand sanitizer will be readily available through the duration of all training courses (all students will be asked to hand sanitize on arrival and departure)
- If close contact is absolutely necessary the trainer will be expected to wear PPE
- We will have a rigorous system in place to prevent those displaying COVID-19 symptoms joining any training session. This includes a free holding thermometer test and a questionnaire (asking if there have been any symptoms including, fever, a new cough, or loss of taste/smell). Should any student develop symptoms during training, we have procedures in place to control and mitigate spread
- All equipment will be completely sanitized and thoroughly cleaned before (and after) a student or trainer uses it
- All training will include up to date procedures for performing CPR in a safe and effective manner, enabling all students to safely perform CPR should the needed arise
